Description: Known for its calming, soothing and anti-inflammatory effects. Combined with its

mildly laxative attribute it can assist with digestive problems, especially within the small intestine. Colitis, diverticulitis, ulcers and irritable bowel are some examples of conditions which could benefit from marshmallow. The leaves can aid with urinary problems, such as cystitis, urethritis and frequent urination.

Expectorant and soothing qualities can help with chest problems to relieve coughs, bronchial asthma and to help clear mucous and catarrh. It can be used to treat inflamed skin, including abscesses and boils.

It may be enjoyed as a tea or used as a smoking alternative to sooth, calm and relax body and mind.
