Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard - Tom Felton

Imagine becoming one of the best-known wizards of all time when you're just a kid - yes you heard right - wizard! For Tom Felton, this became a reality when he landed his iconic role as Harry Potter's arch nemesis Draco Malfoy.

Like the other main protagonists in the huge film franchise, he quickly shot to fame as a child star and grew up in front of our very eyes as his character grew into the role.

In his new book Beyond the Wand he recalls his cigarette breaks with Michael Gambon or Albus Dumbledore as we all knew him at the time. They would often be found outside the stage that housed the Astronomy Tower, having a 'breath of fresh air' as they called it. Amongst the set painters, plasterers, chippies and sparks were Draco Malfoy and Albus Dumbledore - what a sight to behold!
